I discovered a new app a couple of days ago, through my TMobile rep. It was suggested as a way to conserve battery. It has a setting which can disable an apps ability to use data/WiFi. There are many apps, like games, with network permissions. These do not require access to be used, shutting off their access would prevent a bundled Trojan from reaching out as well. http://latedroid.com/juicedefender/
