I disagree.

I have TiVo and have done some experimentation with different formats. The best format option I found was for "ARCHOS Android Tablet", with "iPad" (not iPod) being a close second. These are larger files, but the difference in video quality is remarkable. I hope this helps anyone else who's looking to watch some videos on a plane/train/automobile trip anytime soon!
