Excellent review!

Have you tried recalibrating the LCD screen (Settings - Display)? It may help on some of the touch issues. As for the camera, there are settings in the app to pick low vs hi resolution. It's 2 MP camera, which isn't bad, although phones these day have 4-6 MP.
