Try playing with the "Outgoing Server Settings" under your "Account Settings". Check/uncheck the "Require sign-in" and the "Authentication type" (appears when "Require Sign-in" is checked) until you find something that works. The "username" and "password" will be the same as your "incoming Server" setting.
