Are you sure your device is actually charching? I ask this because sometimes the adapter is not well connected. Is the green light on your ac-adapter on? Is the green light in the on/off button of the eDGe blinking? If not: check your connections. You can also pop out your battery and put it in again. Sometimes the battery does not connect very well.
