Here, Samsung is indicating they'll release Android 2.2 in November (by the end of the month, no less!) which, ironically, is about the same timeframe for enTourage's release of 2.2 (according to rumours and speculation). Indeed, enTourage may beat Samsung to the punch. So, scoff not, as the little startup that could, named "enTourage", is on par with the big and mighty Samsung (among many others).
While we're all an impatient lot who wants everything yesterday, with due patience we will get Android 2.2 no quicker and no later than many other Android device owners around the world

Well-spoken, Borisb.
An as-yet not referenced "consideration" in the 2.2 implementation is/are the intricacies of the "dual screens" most EXCELLENT co-connectivity, bi-interactions/linking/web-tagging to books/passages and the plethora of other "shared" delights that need to be correctly engineered (relative to, or, in terms of OS "upgrades/updates.")
To quote Carlyle: "Silence is the element in which Great Things fashion themselves."
Merely because enTourage is not tripping over themselves to "rush" an inferior update/upgrade to satisfy the impatient, I, for one, prefer to give enTourage ALL the time they need to get it RIGHT upon release.
