"Not being in the US" doesn't mean that you can't get any books. There are 10s of thousands of out of copyright books, many of them classics (over 1000 of which can be downloaded free from this site, hand-formatted for the Sony Reader.

For commercial e-Books you can (where legal) buy any Microsoft Reader book, trivially remove the DRM, and convert to Sony Reader format with free tools.

Finally, if you send "Leaping Gnome" a PM, he will happily buy Sony eBook store vouchers for you (pay him by PayPal) which can be used by anybody, regardless of their location.

So what's with the "I can't get any books" stuff?
