I have to say that I'm quite surprise on how well it works considering there is not active digitizer and therefore no palm rejection. The bezel sure helps in this case.

Also the fact that the LCD has resistive technology is actually an advantage over capacitive for this type of applications where you are expected to use a stylus... You just can't get the type of precision that you get with a resistive screen with stylus from one of those finger-like stylus for capacitive screens.
