I was too, and specifically asked. Unsurprisingly, they declined to tell me, nor would they tell me if the backer is already in the e-reading device game or not. I expect they're under some sort of NDA.
The question about whether McKinsey want's us all to know about this survey is kind of answered by the fact that they've taken out ads about it on this forum (banner ads), I saw one Friday afternoon.
