I get the same thing - the LCD doesn't accept input while locked, and the Menu button (which you usually use to unlock the LCD) doesn't work because of the MySettings lock pattern.
I recommend you put in a Feature Request or Help Request at
http://www.entourageedge.com/support...kets&_a=submit. enTourage may be able to adjust the LCD lock/unlock logic to accommodate the MySettings lock pattern.
BTW, such drawn unlock patterns can be very easy to hack - you just hold the screen up at the right angle and you can see the repeated pen stroke pattern on the screen surface. The more often you use the lock pattern, the easier it will be to see on the screen surface.
Personally, I don't know why Android devices don't have a simple numeric unlock code like my Windows Mobile phone...
