Here is my idea and I have a question also. I am waiting for my Motion L-Series pen to be delivered. But I also have an idea. I bought a cheap capactive pen for iTouch type units and it works extremely well on the LCD side. I can promise you that I would have NEVER scratched my LCD screen by accident if using this. So what did I do next? I took the pen apart, of course. Now I have the paintbrush/makeup looking end attached to a small, thin plastic piece that extends 1 1/4". Now, this is my idea and I need to see if I will end up destroying my white stylus in the process. My plan is to_remove_ the end 'cap' of the white stylus and then drill a very thin hole 1"1/4 deep into the white stylus. Finally attaching the new 'end cap' with a LCD appropriate stylus end. Seems perfect. It would fit in the stylus hole/area of my eDGe since most of it would still be there. But now I have a double ended, dual purpose and SAFE stylus that is guaranteed to not scratch your screen and make working on the LCD screen MUCH more enjoyable.
Question: Starting measuring from the END of the stylus, how much space do I have before I drill into critical components? I can cut off much of the length of the new end because it needs to be long enough to be stable but I have construction adhesive that will work with plastics and surly do the trick.
This is the cheap pen I bought and took apart. I do not know how to add my photos of the disassembled pen... But they have good pictures with the product. Hopefully it will make sense.

Thanks.. and I look forward to any comments. Things like .. dude, you are crazy is ok too. Sometimes I do stuff I shouldn't.
** update, After looking at the end cap of original white stylus, I believe I do not have to remove it at all. I can drill using a longer thinner bit and finish with a larger bit for the top area as it widens out some. Finally, a slight countersink will work great. I can not wait to get home and try this tonight!!!! Now I have to work today and tonight... so long until I get home!! It is driving me nuts. I will write back and report how the little project ended up.
*** up-update: I ended up drilling a hole into the end of the white styles. Then I took the brush-part from the capactive iTouch stylus and inserted it into the newly created whole. I used no glue or adhesive. It holds very tight and will not come out without deliberate intentions... besides, using some kind of glue scares me since I am using this on the screen. My luck would have a wet part smear my screen! lol
Summery: Now my stylus is double-sided. One side for the LCD screen and the other for the ereader screen. It is much, much nicer using the LCD screen now. And everything fits nicely into its stylus home on the eDGe. It kind of looks like a small ereaser/brush on the end of the stylus. I am sure the end can be other materials like a Q-tip (that I read has been done here), or a makeup applier thing, or trimmed paintbrush.
