I would like to see an easy way to sync the journal notes with Evernote. There is even an API available at Evernote's website. This would provide access to the notes from everywhere as well as handwritting recognition.

Also perhaps you can talk to robot who is doing some really amazing stuff trying to run any app on the eink side. I know he had been looking for help from an experience android developer.
