Can someone please verify what brand/type of usb-to-ethernet adapter works?

I bought one secondhand which looks exactly like the one pictured in the entourage edge shop . All blue and see-through. Identical in appearance maybe, but it doesnt work with my edge.

When I put the adapter in an xp machine it is recognized as an "DM9601 USB NIC" The chip inside the device is branded "fullwin fy-618sm 0839".

Can someone post the details of a working usb-to-ethernet adapter bought from the official shop for comparison?
