I've tried both those things. The keyboard will not show up no matter what. Its like when I tap the box it acts like I would be able to type there the keyboard even pops up real fast but then the green loading bar pops up for a split second then just can't type there. Its really decreased the amount of things I can do with my Edge online like my homework.
