There's a page on LinuxToday HERE linked to a blog reviewing the edge. A commentor on the page has trouble getting the point of the edge which is easy to understand when one hasn't used the edge. I posted my use cases in a comment that hasn't yet cleared moderation. Go to the page and constructively (and politely) inform him how useful the edge is to you.
