Hi everyone,

I have recently been using my Edge to read epub books and a vertical white line has suddenly appeared on the e-reader screen. There is no damage to the screen, so I think the electronics that control that line of pixels may have gone bad or stopped working properly. It is visible all the time, even when the device is off (I haven't tried pulling the battery), and is pretty annoying when the screen has a graphic on it.

So I have a few questions:

1) Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to fix it and how?
2) Is this something that can be fixed easily or does it need to be sent in for repair?
3) If it needs repair, would this fall under the warranty, who should I contact, and how much should I expect to pay to ship it?

If it's not covered by the warranty, then I'm just going to have to deal with it, but I'd like to get it fixed to make my reading more enjoyable...
