See the Kno Dual Screen thingamabob at engadget. (It's an edge wannabe).

Good points:
Big, color screens are pretty.

Bad Points:
Way too heavy. People complain about the 3lb edge. This is 5.5lbs. Good if you're into building biceps
Too buggy/unfinished/unstable (according to the hands-on reviewers it crashed a lot).
Way too expensive. ("under $1000" usually ends up being $999.98)
The user interface appears dedicated to specific use by the student demographic.
The hinge appears to be flexible flat cables, so it is unable to hold its own screen up in a laptop-like configuration like the edge can do.

That's my take on it.
