Checked out MiFi's wikipedia page and it is in quite a few countries, but Italy doesn't seem to be one of them. |

Not relevant to the post but I feel obliged to tell you that while Japan has very good cell networks and good Internet, everything is expensive and overall rather technologically backward. For example, WiFi is very hardvto find here. Even at major universities it hardly exists. As for wifi that anyone can access, forget it. Cell phone handsets are woefully behind with tiny screens and character based GUIs. No one (almost) uses a PDA for calendars or contact info. Tell your husband you are better off where you are!!!!!!
