Tip: Use your fingernails

As many have observed, there are some issues with the LCD screen sensitivity - sometimes it does not pick up finger taps or mis-interprets them. Using the stylus seems to solve most of those issues, but it's not always convenient to use the stylus.

Here's my solution: I have found that bending the finger and using the fingernail to tap the screen or even type on the virtual keyboard improves LCD responsiveness and reduces erroneous clicking dramatically. I find that I can type pretty fast (and error-free) on the virtual keyboard in landscape using most of my fingers. I just have to bend the fingers slightly so that the fingernail touches the screen. Note that I am a guy and have reasonably trimmed nails, so if it works for me, it should work for just about anybody. It's not an ideal solution, but it does help a lot.

The reason it works is that the LCD is a resistive screen, so the harder and more pointed the object touching it - the better it responds.

Try it and see what you think!
