Me too.
Right now, I have to use Dolphin because too much real estate is taken up by that menu bar. But I really like the new feature to view a webpage on the eInk side--but that's only available on the stock browser. Since it's not possible for Dolphin to have that capability (at least until the SDK is released), we're stuck using the stock browser if we want the eInk. Very frustrating.
I've only had my Edge for less than a week and my general experience is positive. However there are a number of (seemingly little) tweaks that would greatly enhance the user experience, with this one near or at the top of the list (literally, when I show off the Edge to people, asking whether it's possible to collapse and/or change the menu bar is usually the first question that they ask). It's disappointing that this request has been around for nearly two months and hasn't been acted upon yet. When the SDK is released, I'm sure a customization program will be one of the first apps released--but I really don't want to wait that long.
I appreciate that keeping a link to purchase content in a permanent and prominent place is probably a key component of Entourage's business model or whatever. And at some point I'll probably utilize it. But 99% of the time when I pick up the Edge, it isn't to purchase a new book. It's to view the internet, which I'd like to do with as much of the 10.1" LCD screen as possible.
