You may want to look into the larger pen-enabled Wacom pens anyhow. Everyone seems to find them much better to use with the eDGe. You should be able to get one at home.

I had a look yesterday, but the "penenabled" pens are either out of stock or incredible expensive (100$ or more). I found a couple of US suppliers (including Amazon US from where I have bought tons of books) but they (too) refuse to send pens to Europe. It make me wonder if the pens can be used as lethal weapons (more lethal than ordinary pens). If anybody knows where I can buy a reasonable priced compatible pen I would be most grateful to learn from you. In fact, any information of what it takes for a stylus to work with the Edge would be welcome.
