So what does that mean for us? I have problems very similar to yours, robot. If I do the same touchscreen test, there are a few areas where I get fairly long, vertical lines, but mine are mostly toward the middle of the screen. I'm not sure whether this qualifies the device as unusable or merely extremely frustrating. I really like the machine, so I work with it, but I have so many misclicks that it can be very trying at times. I do find that a firm touch helps a lot, but it doesn't solve all of my problems. If this is a hardware issue, do I need to live with it, or does it rise to the level of asking for a replacement?
