While I am a big fan of the eDGe, I do find the LCD responsiveness to be quite a significant problem, even after many many attempts to recalibrate the screen. I've tried various suggestions, from using stylus to tapping with fingernails, which works reasonably for navigation, but not as well for typing. I now use a physical keyboard with my eDGe most of the time. I had imagined that typing with a large virtual keyboard would be so much easier than typing on the iPhone virtual keyboard, but am actually finding the iPhone keyboard to be superior to the eDGe in terms of how fast and how accurately I can type on it. I'm even wondering if at some point I will be able to use my iphone as a bluetooth thumb keyboard to send keystrokes to the eDGe.
