Before I performed the update, there were a few specific keys on the keyboard that did not respond well and were consistently off. Since the update, I've had no noteworthy problems with the LCD screen. Even before the update, I never had wildly off clicking as educator reports. Just a key away on the virtual keyboard. Now, if using the virtual keyboard or trying to hit very specific spots on the screen, I often tap with a fingernail or use a stylus. Otherwise, like for selecting icons etc., I find regular finger presses work well for me. Are a lot of people still having major problems with LCD calibration after the software update?
