(I'm not so sure that after 4 years waiting, I'll still remember all the important details required to read the last book. Of course it's ok to forget some nonsense details but if I forget them all, that would be reading the whole lengthy series again...)
I didn't find any official news about a release date, but some people are worrying that it will take him 4 years because it took him 4 years to publish Wise Man's Fear.

I don't mind rereading the first books in a series, I do that all the time! For example, I just finished rereading The Black Magician Trilogy and the first book in the Traitor Spy Trilogy (which follows Black Magician's Trilogy) by Trudi Canavan because book 2 of the Traitor Spy Trilogy (The Rogue) was released I always remember the storylines, but never the details that could be important in the sequel.

Yesterday I finished Side Jobs by Jim Butcher, a collection of Harry Dresden short stories. Some were good, others a little less good ... I especally liked the last one, which is told from Murphy's point of view and takes place right after the events of Changes.

I'm going to have another go at The Last Four Things by Paul Hoffman. I never got past page 50 in the first attempt. If the story doesn't pick up by the end of page 100, I'll go find myself another book to read.
