My first exposure to ebooks was when I bought a palm pilot back in the day but the first dedicated ereader I bought was for my husband a couple years back. He was doing a lot of traveling and wanted something more practical than packing a handful (or more) of books. After that, I wanted one, and really liked the look of the nook. Now I am passing the nook onto a friend of mine and have gotten a Sony prs 350. Mostly because it looked like an awesome little device and I wanted a new toy.
Now if only it came with a "stun" function...
