Ti Kuan Yin (in any of its spellings) was always considered the Queen of Oolong teas! It's also sold as "Iron Goddess of Mercy" tea. If you remember the photo of the huge statue I posted after my bike ride down to southern Japan some time ago, that was a statue of Kuan Yin, or as she's called in Japanese, Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy.

But tonight I'm looking towards Bacchus rather than Buddha with a glass of tequila for an evening drink!
