The UK price is a little higher — £1.99. (£1.66+VAT, so about $2.65+VAT) But that's still very reasonable, at about half the (discounted) price of the paperback. "The Friday Project" seems to be an imprint of one of the big publishers that's experimenting with low-priced ebooks along with normal paperback and hardback releases. I'm impressed. |
The Friday Project was a small publisher that got bought up by H. They were doing a lot of experimenting with ebook prices right before they got bought. For several months after they were scooped up, the prices of their books were NOT bargains. BUT...lately the deals have been coming back again. I was worried when Oaks and Hazel came out because the first price I saw was not a bargain (I forget if it was 10 or 15). I wanted the book, but figured I'd wait a bit and see what happened...!!!
