It really is. I was refusing to get excited til they were actually ON the train and on their way. Now, though, I'm all but counting minutes.
Not exactly - but it's short shifts and limited hours. My Customer Service Manager has been really good about this - she was also really good when I took time off because I was so upset when Toryn had the health issues when she was born. It doesn't hurt that we actually have enough people right now who want more hours.
I went to the grocery store and stocked up on what Melora said she wanted to eat, and some baby essentials. Then I came home and made a few of the things Melora said she wanted to eat that need to sit (my ranch dressing and spring salad). Picked up our meat department's specialty - marinated boneless pork chops - to have tomorrow night, with fresh corn on the cob. I think I'm as ready as I'm going to get... now just to keep myself from going crazy until we actually go get them! |
