Flipbar question

As I have been using my new iLiad over the past couple of days I have noticed something about the flipbar that I'd like to ask for some observations and opinions.

On my iLiad, the flipbar is not centered, it leans slightly to the right of top-dead-center. I also note that in that pushing it to the left takes more effort and makes an audible 'click' while pushing it. On the other hand, pushing it to the right takes less effort, moves a smaller distance and has a barely discernible 'click' on the return. In other words the flipbar does not operate symmetrically.

Is this normal for the iLiad or might there be something....odd...with my unit?

-many thanks,

Jeff
