Hi! I'm new! (Surprise!)

I bought a Kindle last year and I can't believe how much I love it! I thought I'd hate it because I really like the feel of a book in my hand, but I managed. Now I can't imagine what life would be like without it. I've got about 3000 books and I move at least once a year. You can imagine how rough that can be - I don't have anyone left who knows me who'll help me move! And I often get a hankering to read a particular book, which I left in storage while I'm on the road, and so I end up buying an extra copy. But my Kindle cured all that. Now moving is a piece of cake and I can just download any book I need and it doesn't add to the moving weight when I go.

My son (13), who is not a big reader, has expressed interest in a Nook. If it'll get him reading, I'll get it. But when I looked at it, it had games and web surfing abilities, so I'm not as thrilled with it. Any thoughts on a proper device for the boy?
