I did one of my other foolish things.
I was making coffee after lunch. Nespresso. The girls were still at the table. When I did mine in a small table glass, I got an idea. I asked to the little one.
Do you want to taste it? I mean the coffee?
She came over all enthusiastic.
Watch out, it is bitter. Take a very little sip. Just taste it.
She did.
Do you like it?
She said yes. Do you want one? She said yes. So I brewed her one deca, in a glass like the one we had, and gave it to her. She took it at the table. I said. Drink it up.
She answered pointedly. I'll drink it in my own good time.
After, I saw her outside with the glass half empty, stirring things in it. I asked her and she confirmed that she did not like our coffee. Yet.
