What I noticed most about growing up in the north and moving to the south is it's all about what you've acclimated to. 65 F used to be an ideal temp when I lived in NJ but now it's down right bone chilling. When I moved here I got rid of most of my winter clothes after that first winter, which felt like spring to me. As I acclimated to the warm temps, my wardrobe now has more wool sweaters than I've ever owned in my life! I couldn't have guessed that would happen!

It is so much more comfortable here than back home. My sister was expecting triple digits with no cool ocean breeze.
