They taught us at school:
breakfast - morning
dinner - early/afternoon
supper - evening

When I moved to the UK, I had to adapt to:

breakfast - morning
lunch - early/afternoon
dinner - evening

brunch - later breakfast, a meal in-between breakfast and lunch
