Kindle, the Third, was hardworking; johnny-on-the-spot throughout his life, always there when his owner needed him. At the train station, Kindle alleviated boredom; when the power was out and Mighty Computer was unresponsive, lo and behold, Kindle jumped into the fray and entertained his owner. When his owner went clothes shopping with his wife, Kindle, without a regard for his safety, jumped into the breach and saved his owner from certain insanity.

But the day came that Kindle was defeated, and the spark of energy flickered...and died.

Goodbye, dear Kindle, you have left a mark on my life and I shall always remember your selfless acts of courage under fire.
