Something is bugging me about Amazon. Now, I love Amazon, and I don't think I've ever had a bad transaction there. I did have a pbook order come as an empty envelope once, but I just had to call order support and they happily overnighted me another copy of the book. So my issue isn't with products, service, support or any of the usual stuff.
My issue is being hounded for feedback on Marketplace transactions. "Please leave feedback for these transactions" emails from Amazon, and lately I've also gotten emails from the Marketplace sellers asking me to leave feedback. Since one order can contain items from 10 sellers, the emails add up quickly. I know that the feedback ratings are important. I get that, I really do. But Amazon is a retailer. It's not eBay. To me, it's the equivalent of cashiers chasing me down the aisle of a store saying "rate us!".
I would love it if Amazon would just send one email a month with a link to a list of unrated transactions for that month, and nothing from the seller unless there's an order problem. I can't be bothered to do it more often than that, honestly, and the more I hear about it, the less I want to do it. And by the time I finish rating the seller in the various categories, I've lost the desire to review the product.
So that's my rant for today. The cramps might have something to do with my irritability.
