Although not a "autonooter", the Manual nooter process is really only 1 more step than the auto process. You install the programs to the SD card (just like the autonooter) and then you boot the nook from the sd card. Unlike the auto nooter, you have one addtional step of selecting "install zip" from the menu that you will see on the screen (it boots into Clockwork recovery, and then you need to "install zip" which is really just running the manual nooter program.)

It isn't really any more difficult than the old auto nooter process. I suspect the most difficult step is the same difficult step of creating the sd card with the files on it.
