In my case I am sure it had nothing to do with technology. I was pretty much sceptical about being able to enjoy reading a book by using a gadget vs. holding my beloved hard back editions. Initially, I bought Sony Reader PRS-500 for an occasional reading, such as travelling. Although I am IT technician, I am not a gadget man, I don't enjoy the toys unless they are useful. So, I never dreamed that I was going to fall in love with the ebook reader. It was a profound surprise to me (I am not fan of surprises, because it means I am not in control of the situation and I am a control freak
