Looks like the fact mentioned in the earlier post about Borders being Kobo's US presence no longer applies.

Well, that's too bad. I don't know who in the US would want to subject themselves to the international service fee for doing transaction with Kobo. Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or even Sony, ftw!
