If you sign up for the email newsletter, they've also got a very good deal for 75% off the regular retail price of a bundle of 3 of Stephen Leigh's sf novels, Dark Water's Embrace, Speaking Stones, and The Shape of Silence.

Only $7.64 (works out to $2.57 each, normally $8.49 each when you buy direct from publisher, list price $9.99 each before other stores' discounts) when you use the coupon code via the special link in their email.

I read DWE when it was a freebie from them last year, bought and read the sequel SStones during their 50% off coupon sale, and I quite liked both.

I would cheerfully be getting this bundle if I hadn't already paid for the 2nd book and it wouldn't be costing me more to buy the lot as-is than waiting for the standalone TSoSilence to go on sale on its own at some point.

Recommended if you like speculative semi-hard social sf; blurb compares it Ursula K. Le Guin's The Left Hand of Darkness and I'd say that while it's not quite there, it doesn't fall short of the mark, either.
