Been searching and have not found anything new on status of autonooter for v1.2 in weeks?

So been holding of rooting as I don't want to SD card everything. And prefer to leave SD slot free to add whatever custom SD card I may wish to insert for additional books,movies,music or mix of.

But all am seeing is manualnooter this and if want to add android then you have to do this or enable that you have to do this and this kind of hacking.

So anyone can point to where actual recent info on autonooter status?
Would be appreciated as only threads I've seen are like 3-4 weeks old.
