Yes Bookworm_Girl, it was really hard to read from the 900 screen after being used to the 350 screen. I called my sister at lunch to see how she's enjoying it and remind her that she still hasn't paid me the $70 she said she would grrr. She's enjoying fanfiction on it though :-). I am so tempted by the new Nook(less my the Kobo honesty since I like the page turn buttons on the Sony), but after using the music player on the 900, I now BELIEVE in using one device to listen to music and read a book at the same time, lol.

I returned the 900 to a different Best Buy at lunch today and looked at the ereader section to make sure a 950 hadn't popped up(you know they grow in stores, right?) and the sales guy tried to sell me on the display model. Yeah, I never buy display models since people tend to be pretty rough with them. Still, he said the floor models are usually discounted 10-15 % so the 950 would then cost $169-179 which was tempting. I wonder if this is one of those situations in which you can haggle a bit. He said 10% at first and then 15% when I didn't bite. While the device was a floor model there were no scratches anywhere on it and only a few smudges on the screen and a sticker on the back so I am tempted. the only thing is that eink screens are really fragile, would a floor model be worth the risk?

I'm so tempted by an acutally in stock 650 Poppaea, but I have a budget for my ereader and it's $175(all my discretionary money for this pay period). I could live with the $199, but $230 is pushing it a bit.
