I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere.

Received my new refurb Kobo yesterday. Synced it up and everything seems to be working fine.

However this morning I was attempting to copy some epubs that I had on it before (stored on my SD card) through ADE and for about half of them I received the "no permission to copy document here" error message.

Any fixes or work-arounds for this? I don't want to put the SD card back into the Kobo so I am using a card reader and added the books I wanted to ADE. Then while dragging them to the Kobo icon, I encountered this error but only for SOME books.

And yes, my reader has been authorized by ADE.

OKAY... now when I go back into ADE, I see that the books I was unable to copy are showing up as "Missing". Perhaps I totally misunderstood ADE. When you add a book to ADE, does it actually ADD the book... or just create a shortcut to it? Now that the SD card reader is unplugged, there is no link to the books. Correct?

Sheesh, it really hurts having an old brain with limited RAM.
