I did look at that reader when I walked into the store, and do wish the 950 were offered in black, as the old one was.

But the imperfect touchscreen implementation and lesser screen would be dealbreakers for me personally.

Wouldn't you rather trade it (and $59) for the real thing, assuming your BB still has it? The fact they still have the 900 is a good indication they might.

One good thing about the 900 is the availability of accessories. Unlike the latest (but still discontinued) version for the 950, you can still find the Sony case with light for the 900. It's also much, much cheaper.

There are also remaindered cases by companies like Acme Made, well as this waterproof case by TrendyDigital, should you wish to enjoy your reader while floating in the pool this summer.
