I sent an email to Bookeen about a month ago with two suggestions. The first was being able to set your own images for Instant Off mode, the 2nd was having an option to show the book cover of the book you are reading in Instant Off mode.
They responded saying they would hand my suggestions over for the next development meeting. No idea if that means it will go anywhere or not.
