In my company the oldest one we have is a Cybook Gen3 (64 MB one!) bought in February 2008 (more then 3 years old now), still strong and still one of the best (our experience).
Sony 505 bought December 2008, also no problems.
Kindle Dxg bought November 2010. Main reader now for normal use, presentations, teaching and other business uses, and zero problems… Duokan in it and PDFs (academic or leisure ones) are a perfect read. Kindle reading OS for Mobipocket as Duokan is useless for Portuguese (Portuguese or others)…
