Dear Kindle world, I just thought I would let you know that I took my Kindle fishing. We left the picnic table by the river with my Kindle on it. While we were away fishing the wind blew up and blew the picnic table, picnic basket and Kindle and the Kindle slithered over the bank and into the river.

Half an hour later we returned to find the Kindle at the bottom of 2 foot of water. Fresh water.

When I got home I clicked off the back and used blotting paper to dab whatever droplets I could see and left it lightly warm on an Aga for two days.

I plugged it in to charge it up and bingo the charging light went on it charged up again fully and it works. Hooray!
