Hi from me in snowy Scotland.

First saw the Sony Reader in a report late in Autumn 2007 - thought that was a good idea. Then the Kindle surfaced !

Only then did I realise there were such things as e-readers !! Don't laugh it's true - did numerous searches and was amazed.

I like the idea that an e-reader could help reduce the amount of paper used, though I recognise that's a very long term project. BUT I particularly like the idea of many books in one small piece of kit - and no more problems with storage............

Don't get me wrong, I love books - I always have . And many hard/soft backs are fond friends, especially art books. But I do have a serious problem with where to put bookcases etc, plus keeping cats away from them too !.

So after much deliberation I seem to be coming down to looking at the Bookeen CyGen3. I only want to read books, so nothing fancy - though the MP3 player will be a waste of time for me.

What a long intro ! sorry !
