I buy lots of stuff from Hong Kong, and understand the risk(better odds than the pokies). But the only thing I had that didn't work (a bike light) they sent me another one for free. We eventually managed to fix the original, and ended up with two.
I wouldn't buy food or toothpaste etc from there, but if a USB bluetooth stick is $30 in the shops and $2 in Hong Kong, you can guess where I am going to try.
p.s. The bluetooth device was the same brand etc. I suspect the local importer just repackaged it.
