It doesn't say it is a mighty bright light and wasn't marketed as such. Until this thread I didn't really know what a mighty bright light was. After looking on the net, it does appear to be very similar.
A couple of fora mention that the mightybright is made in China. Perhaps a member with a "high quality" original will be able to tell.
I bought my cheapie from Hong Kong, so I guess that it would be made in China.
